When does business start to make sense?

Business becomes personal experience when students make a judgement, take responsibility for a result and work with others to make something happen.

Judgement, agency and creativity

Judgment

Identify the key factors and weigh choices in situations without a single right answer.

Agency

Take initiative to discover, act and follow through, accepting responsibility for the outcome.

Creation

Bring together knowledge, AI, people and resources to turn ideas into real value.

How students act matters, too.

Entrepreneurial spirit encourages students to identify problems and act. A global perspective helps them understand different contexts and views. Social responsibility asks them to consider how business decisions affect other people.

Shaolangzhu: taking ownership of your own growth

Shaolangzhu, FINGY’s young-wolf symbol, carries the values of courage, independence, responsibility, teamwork and growth. “Shao” refers to young people still growing; “lang”, the wolf, represents awareness, judgement, resilience and collaboration; “zhu” means taking ownership of one’s choices, direction and outcomes.

We support students as they learn to understand the world, make judgements, collaborate with others and take responsibility for their choices and outcomes.
