Unicorn Spirit: analysis to presentation

For Grades 6–9, business cases, user research, simulations and presentations offer practice in analysing problems, developing proposals, collaborating and communicating.

Grades 6–9

4 terms over 2 years

12 lessons per term · 2 hours each

Think like an entrepreneur

Explore pricing, competition and value through business cases, learn the structure of a business plan and consider business ethics and digital tools.

Improve ideas with evidence

Use market analysis, questionnaires and interviews to understand users. Practise presenting data, making prototypes and improving ideas through feedback.

Communicate a business idea

Practise business plans, presentation design and delivery, using rehearsals and end-of-term presentations to review reasoning and teamwork.

From a question to an explainable proposal

The second term develops market research and presentation: design questionnaires and interview questions, explain findings visually, make a physical or digital prototype and improve it through testing. Connect the problem, solution and value in a pitch.

What do students work on?

Questionnaires or interview guides, data displays, prototypes and pitch practice connect understanding users, testing an idea and explaining a proposal. A campus-merchandise marketing task in the syllabus asks students to consider online communication and in-person activities together.

How can progress become visible?

Alongside the end-of-term review and presentation, compare earlier and later questions, prototypes and scripts. Are questions more specific? Do revisions respond to feedback? Can the student explain the choices? Contact our team about the current term and class arrangements.
